A strip club has rebranded itself as a food and drink delivery service called ‘Boober Eats’ amid the worsening coronavirus crisis. Exotic dancers at the Lucky Devil Lounge in Oregon sprang intk action after their workplace shuttered its doors after the Covid-19 pandemic called for social distancing. But enterprising bosses there decided to tweak its business model by sending strippers to bring food to those in self-isolation. Shon Boulden, the club’s owner, originally posed the idea as a joke on Facebook, but he later decided to launch the service after people expressed a huge amount of interest online. ‘I originally did it at first as a joke and it got 150 shares on Facebook. It’s like nothing we’ve ever had before,’ he said.
